“Following Him” by Dianne H. Timmering

But Ruth replied [to Naomi, her mother-in-law], “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.” Book of Ruth 1:16

God asks us to follow Him–even though we don’t always know the way or understand the path. Let us be certain it is a good path if He is leading us there. Love to you all.

“Refuge in God’s Beauty” by Dianne H. Timmering

I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul. You have not given me into the hands of the enemy but have set my feet in a spacious place. Psalm 31:7-8 NIV

Spring is on the back of winter and the birds sing welcoming her to life. Take refuge in the spacious beauty of God; you will find Him there.

“Crying Out and Taking Refuge” by Dianne H. Timmering

In you, O Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness. Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me. Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me. Psalm 31:1-3

Cry out to the Lord in all things! He knows what is in your heart; He knows what perplexes you.

“Seeing God in His Fullest” by Dianne H. Timmering

This is what the Lord says–your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb: I am the Lord,  who has made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by Myself . . . Isaiah 44:24

See God in His fullest, beyond the four walls and for all that is possible in your life–for all the great pursuits, opportunities, and outcomes He wants for your beautiful life. Be so very blessed.

“Her Voice Is Strong” by Dianne H. Timmering

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.  Joshua 1:9

Last night, I had a very good visit with my mom who many of you may remember had broken six ribs this summer and also suffers from Parkinson’s. Rehab has been difficult and trying, with my father the primary care giver now that she is home. We are all weary. But something miraculous is happening. Last night, her voice was strong, it is no longer a whisper, her teeth shone, her eyes engaged and her laugh echoed. She gets stronger every day and it occurred to me, let us not give up on our prayer requests, petitions and miracles. Things are happening! Be not afraid, have courage, all will be well. Love to all.

“Psalm 23” by Dianne H. Timmering

The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Psalm 23

Be blessed and let us be without worry, trusting ourselves to God’s green ground of nestled comfort and true peace.
